A 1,000-Year-Old Tradition.
Drawn from the tradition of Christian education exemplified in the colleges at Oxford and Cambridge, our Houses provide real, tangible community within the larger school — giving students the opportunity to take ownership, fulfill the call to leadership, and cultivate the ideal conditions for virtue. Each House has a senior and junior prefect and a faculty advisor.

Faith at the Center of Everything.
Daily Mass
The Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life.” For this reason, every school day begins with Mass.
Faith at the Center
The faith is the central reality from which all academic disciplines flow. All subjects are taught through the lens of the Church — religion is not merely one subject among many.
Retreats & Prayer
Students pray the Morning Offering and the Angelus, and take part in retreats and spiritual formation throughout the year.
Unique Calling
Each person has a unique and unrepeatable gift. Students are prepared for life — which means finding their vocation and discerning their calling.
Faith in Action.
Student life is enriched by a vibrant service program designed to cultivate generosity, community engagement, and a deepened sense of personal and social responsibility.
Community Service
Volunteering at food banks, shelters, nursing homes, and community centers.
Global Outreach
Mission trips and international service projects that broaden students' understanding of global needs.
Parish Involvement
Liturgical ministries, religious education, and parish events that deepen students' connection to their faith community.
Pro-Life Initiatives
Awareness and action on pro-life issues, advocating for the dignity of all human life.
Building Body Along with Mind.
Gym and dance classes provide outlets for creative exercise and team-building skills, with field trips throughout the year to further challenge students in strengthening their bodies. Sports at Chesterton Academy work in partnership with parents and families, and student participation in a sport every season is highly encouraged. Headmaster Patrick Storey is also the founder and current Athletic Director of CASTA's thriving sports program, which already engages over 70% of the student body in character-building competition.
